Limited Warranty

All refurbished and new equipment sold by East Coast Breakers & Controls is guaranteed to be free of defect for a period one year (unless described otherwise) from the time of shipment, under the condition that the product has been installed and operated properly. This warranty excludes all items sold “as-is". All items proven defective within the one year period will be replaced by East Coast Breakers & Controls. In the event that we cannot provide a replacement your monies will be refunded in full. We are not responsible for any consequential losses or damages outside of the defective product as well as any replacements or repairs performed by another party without our written authorization.

Sales Tax

All merchants located outside of Rhode Island are not subject to any sales tax. However, in the event that you are purchasing product outside of Rhode Island and having it shipped direct to a Rhode Island address, sales tax may apply.

By law we are required to charge applicable sales tax for all transactions performed within the state of Rhode Island for those who are not tax exempt. All tax exemption forms must be on file at East Coast Breakers & Controls in order to perform tax exempt transactions.

Sales Policy

At East Coast Breakers & Controls we price our products based on the OEM price in correlation with the products condition. Prices are updated daily to guarantee you the best value.

Shipping Policy

All orders less than 150 lbs. will be shipped via UPS. All bulky and overweight items will be shipped freight with a common carrier. Shipping insurance must be requested at time of sale. All shipping and handling charges will be billed to customer's place of business unless specified otherwise. If you wish to have items shipped on your account, you must provide all account information and instructions at the time of sale. Packaging and handling costs may still apply. We can accommodate shipments on just about any carrier, and we ship worldwide.

Credit Terms

Account terms may be established with an approved credit application. Payment terms are setup at Net 30 days unless otherwise specified. A fee of 1.5% will be applied to all accounts that go unpaid beyond their set terms.

Return Policy

All returns must be approved by a East Coast Breakers & Controls representative with an RMA (return merchandise agreement) number. All returns performed within 30 days of shipment are subject to a 20-50% restocking charge depending on the item. Items are non-returnable outside 30 days of shipment date. Any returned products that are not packaged properly and suffer damage are not the responsibility of East Coast Breakers & Controls.

Repair Policy

All products sent in for repair work require an approved RO (repair order) number. All products that are not packaged properly and suffer damage are not the responsibility of East Coast Breakers & Controls.

Additional Terms

All customers and vendors agree to the terms and conditions printed on all East Coast Breakers & Controls invoices, quotes, purchase orders and sales order forms. As well as all other official forms and documents we use in correspondence.

Product Terms

East Coast Breakers & Controls is not an authorized distributor for any of the manufacturers or products we sell on our site.

New Surplus

The product has never been wired up or energized. The product has been purchased in bulk from qualified sources outside normal distribution networks. New surplus items will generally come in original fresh factory packaging. In some cases new surplus items may have a tattered box or may not have the original box. All “new surplus" products are not covered through the OEM warranty.

Refurbished

The product has previously been in service and has been re-qualified to East Coast Breakers & Controls standards. The product has been cleaned, tested, lubricated and has passed our multi-point inspection.

We adhere to all NETA testing standards.
